Date Title Time
Sat 02.10Long Night of Museums: How could this happen? 6:00 pm–10:00 pm

Already for the 21st time, the ORF initiates the Long Night of Museums – also the Nordico opens its doors for culturally interested night owls from 18:00 to 01:00 in the morning. The city museum focuses on Adolf Hitler’s youthful years in their historical context. Interactions with the cultural mediators of the Nordico offer the possibility of a deeper examination of the exhibition Young Hitler. A Dictator’s Formative Years 1889 – 1914”.

How could a young person in Linz become so radicalized? Could that also be the case today? Which social groups and associations contributed to a climate of racism and anti-Semitism back then? Were there voices of dissent? What is it like today? An interactive exploration of the exhibition The Young Hitler for families and youth. Participation possible at any time.
