Death is a very lively companion. Sometimes quiet, sometimes loud, often unexpected and at times longed for. And yet we prefer to push it far away from us. This exhibition brings it right into the center – gently, confrontationally and with humour and raw honesty. For we all have to die. So why not talk about it before it is too late?

The exhibition Made in Linz highlights the stories of selected businesses in compact stations and also places a spotlight on the people behind these companies: founders with a pioneering spirit, families who continued to run businesses across generations, and companies that became important employers in the city as a result of their products.
