Nature:Art Days
Artist and curator talks, nature city walks in the footsteps of wild nature, film brunch and hikes to “non-human zones”. The Nature:Art Days take place on Saturday 10.05. and Sunday 11.05. on the occasion of the exhibitions Give Nature a Break. Edgar Honetschläger at the Nordico Stadtmuseum and Touch Nature at the Lentos Kunstmuseum Linz.

The artist Elisabeth von Samsonow speaks on the topic:
What is ecological aesthetics? The ecological drama “Goddess Land” in the Pulkau Valley.

At the Nordico forecourt: A small snack, a discussion about the project “Green Museum Forecourt”*, and insights from entomologist Dominique Zimmermann on “Insects in the Urban Habitat with a Focus on the Nordico Forecourt.”

A city walk with expert inputs, nature observation, and discussions on nutrition, mobility, biodiversity, soil unsealing, and climate protection.Co-organized by Klimabündnis OÖ and Linz zu Fuß.

Insights from Sabine Fellner on the Touch Nature exhibition curated by her at the Lentos. Followed by an artist talk with Elisabeth von Samsonow: “Ecology and ‘Husbandry’ in Göttinnenland; How to progressively engage artistically with the land, recognize it, and ultimately defend it against current threats of destruction.”

Non-Human Zone Linz
Excursion with Edgar Honetschläger to his art project *“Non-Human Zone”* in Heilham — a natural area entrusted by the city of Linz to the association GoBugsGo, which humans are not allowed to enter, serving as a refuge for nature, especially insects.
Costs, Registration, Information
Nordico admission (€8 / €6 / €3) + guided tour ticket (€4), valid for both days and all program events.
Takes place in all weather conditions, not barrier-free.
