GRIEFYARDS is an international art and writing project, initiated by Celine Vanhoutte and Rosa Braber, that creates space for grief, love, and remembrance. As part of the exhibition Death Positive. Because Dying Happens, mailboxes throughout the city of Linz invite people to write anonymous letters to deceased loved ones.

A selection of these letters will be transformed into works of art by artists and presented as part of a vernissage on November 26 at Nordico, accompanied by storytelling performances — poetic, accessible, and moving. Following the event, the works will be displayed in the exhibition and also offered for sale.
